Welcome to the Oxide Superspin 2021 (OSS2021)

The aim of this workshop OSS2021 is to introduce and discuss the research progress on novel superconductivity at oxide superconductor interfaces with magnetic materials and in nanodevices, as well as in related subjects. This is the 5th international workshop by the JSPS-EPSRC-CNR/SPIN-IBS Core-to-core International Research Network “Oxide Superspin (OSS)”, following the OSS2017 (Kyoto), OSS2018 (Amalfi), OSS2019 (Seoul), and SPICE-OSS2020 (Mainz-Online). To promote the research networking further, this workshop includes a full-day session organized by the young members of the project, following the OSS-IS2018 (Sapporo). This workshop is joined by the JSPS Kiban-S project investigating novel phenomena in the Non-Equilibrium Steady States (NESS) in highly-correlated systems near the Mott transition. The workshop is open to any researchers and students interested in these subjects.

Topics

This workshop covers the following topics related to the Core-to-core Oxide Superspin as well as the JSPS NESS projects:

1.
Superconducting spintronics and magnetism
2.
Novel phases at oxide interfaces
3.
Unconventional superconductivity in Sr2RuO4
4.
Non-equilibrium phenomena in oxides
5.
Topological superconductivity
6.
Frontiers in quantum materials
